I am relatively young, under 30 years of age, and will bring a unique perspective and useful abilities to the Central San Pedro Neighborhood Council. I earned a degree in physics; my education has fostered analytical and critical thinking, and given me valuable knowledge and wisdom. I have also developed strong communication skills at my place of employment.
I have become increasingly familiar with Central San Pedro during the last two years. I was an intern at Congresswoman Janice Hahn’s district office in 2014. I currently work at the San Pedro Chamber of Commerce. During the past year, I have had the pleasure of meeting and serving many business owners and their employees.
I want to do more and help make Central San Pedro a better place to live and work. I am particularly interested in land use and public works projects and issues. The Port of Los Angeles is the largest source of pollution in our area, and I think efforts to make the Port more environmentally friendly need to be increased.
