Spirit of San Pedro Holiday Parade

The 42nd Annual Spirit of San Pedro Holiday Parade is this Sunday, December 4 in downtown San Pedro. This beloved holiday tradition will feature marching bands, equestrian units, floats and of course …Santa Claus!

The holiday parade will kick-off at 13th and Pacific Avenue and head north on Pacific, turn right on 6th Street and head east to Palos Verdes Street.

A very special Community Grand Marshall will help lead the parade in 2022.  Four-year-old Olivia Saluzzi captured the hearts and minds of the San Pedro community in her brave fight to beat leukemia. Olivia was declared leukemia free on August 22, 2022. The San Pedro Chamber of Commerce is honored to have Olivia as our Community Grand Marshall — she truly embodies the Spirit of San Pedro Holiday. Additional special guests will include San Pedro Honorary Mayor Grand Marshal Pam Costa, and confirmed elected officials to date are: Congresswoman Barragan, CA State Senator Steven Bradford, Los Angeles City Councilman Joe Buscaino, Los Angeles City Councilmember Elect Tim McOsker, Assemblymember Al Muratsuchii, Harbor Commissioners Diane Middleton and Anthony Pirozzi, LAPD Fire Chief Crowley and LAPD Captain Brent McGuyre.

There are three locations where live parade commentary can be heard:

  • 13th Street and Pacific Avenue
  • 6th Street and Pacific Avenue
  • 6th Street entrance to the Crowne Plaza LA Harbor Hotel
