Message from LAPD Deputy Chief:

On behalf of Deputy Chief Scott, I would like to extend an invitation to all of you as we host our very first Operations-South Bureau (OSB) virtual town hall meeting.  As you all know, our communities are going through some hard times due to the Coronavirus outbreak.  Physical distancing guidelines have forced us to cancel community meetings; nonetheless, we understand the importance of community relationships and staying in touch.  Our goal is to stay connected with all of you regardless of the current distancing requirements.  During these times of stress, uncertainty, and fear we feel that it is especially important to continue meeting with our communities.  The goal is to stay connected, provide updates, and answer any questions you may have. Despite the new normal, please know that we are still working and our mission has not wavered.  We are still here to serve, and we are here for all of you!

For this reason, we are hoping that you will join us as we participate in our very first OSB “Virtual Town Hall Meeting” (which will take place using the Zoom application).  Your attendance would be greatly appreciated! Please feel free to also submit up to two questions by replying to this email. We will compile a list of your questions and answer them during our virtual town hall meeting.

Please see the details below about the meeting and how to join:
