The ceremony will begin at 10:15 AM with presentations by local and Korean community leaders. Representing the community bridge between our two cultures, will be the Honorable Consul General, Kim Hyun-Myung, from the Los Angeles Consulate of the Republic of Korea and Ernest Lee from the Korean Korean Friendship Bell Preservation Committee.
To conclude the ceremonial portion of the day, the assembled guest speakers and dignitaries will lead the audience in reciting the names of the 13 original American states, and as they read the names, the bell will be rung one time for each state.
