USC Research Study on Police-Community Interactions

Dear LA Community Member:
My name is Shawntae Mitchum and I am a PhD student in the Sociology department at the University of Southern California. I am reaching out to you on behalf of a research team here at USC for a project we are calling “Everyday Respect”. We are working on a research study about communication and behavior between police (LAPD specifically) and community members during traffic stops.
The input from the LA community is of utmost importance to this study. We are looking to interview 30 people about their perspectives on communication and behavior during a traffic stop. Would you help us reach out to the community by sharing this flyer and information on your website and to your community members? People can sign up for an interview by either scanning the QR code, or visiting: tinyurl.com/dtbtmr6u
Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions or concerns.
