The Planning Commission is scheduled to consider the Ponte Vista development on Nov. 14 at the Los Angeles City Hall at 10:00am. This may be your last opportunity to speak up.
The Planning Department had a deadline of November 4th for submitting comments on the proposed plan.
The revised project is for a gated community with 676-700 units most of which are three or four stories tall. Existing zoning would allow for approximately 300 units. The apartments along the south side of the property have been removed and replaced with a 2.4 acre public park (for comparison, Harbor Highlands is 4.8 acres). Check the Northwest SPNC website www.nwsanpedro.org for the latest plans including the specific plan, design guidelines, and tentative tract maps.
